ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide support and clearly communicate direction around process execution to Client, Consumers, Customers, and Customer-Service Agent
  • Maintain training material and process documentation
  • Provide Assistant Claims Specialist with ongoing training, support and coaching
  • Conduct Claims new-hire training
  • Provide Customer Service agents with ongoing support and coaching when required and as assigned
  • Research and manage all incoming claims and high-risk cases as assigned
  • Provide solutions and excellent customer service to internal/external consumers/customers regarding reconciliation of claims, claims process, and claims reporting
  • Communicate with the client on daily claims issues and process improvements
  • Works with Team Leader to ensure most appropriate solutions for execution of Claims support while considering the team’s contacts volumes and metrics

 
CRITICAL SKILLS

  • 1 to 2 years of experience with Claims and High-Risk contracts management
  • Excellent record of unscheduled hours and tardiness
  • Working knowledge of PC applications for word processing and spreadsheet
  • Demonstrates ability to understand basic process issues and take appropriate action
  • Demonstrates ability to motivate, and develop the team toward improved performance
  • Demonstrates written and verbal communication skills, focusing on professionalism, conflict resolution and positive reinforcement
